The Real MacGuffins are a London-based British sketch group. The three of us are, in order, Dan March, Jim Millard and Matt Sheahan. Not sure which order that is exactly but it’s one of them. One’s taller, one’s shorter and one’s more bearded.
We got together in October 2008 and have been performing regularly on the London comedy circuit ever since. With our regular show 'Skitsophrenia' each month, guest spots at comedy nights and various radio appearances to our name, The Real MacGuffins are fast becoming an established feature on the comedy landscape.
We were back at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year (2011). Where we had a lovely time at the Pleasance Courtyard – entertaining over 2,000 people.
We are all writer/performers producing a wealth of material ranging from eerie shopkeepers to sexually frustrated psychiatrists, from the world’s worst advertising agency to everyone’s favourite graphic design-based mobsters ‘The Fonterellis’.
Catch our monthly residency at The Comdy Pub, Oxedon St off Leicester Sq. featuring new material from us each month as well as a line up of fantastic special guest acts.
Check the gigs page for the next show – we’d love to see you there!
